Approach

How we work.

Four rules we've kept since the first engagement. They've cost us some work. They've kept every client.

01

Start with the problem, not the model.

We don't arrive with a tool to place. We arrive with questions, sit with the people doing the work, and measure how long it takes today. Sometimes the answer is a spreadsheet. We'll say so.

02

Your data stays yours.

Systems run on your hardware or inside your own cloud tenant. We use open-weight models where they're good enough, and private endpoints under your contract where they're not. Nothing you give us trains anything.

03

A person stays in the loop.

Wherever money, customers or compliance are involved, a human approves before software acts. Every action is logged, and the log is yours to read.

04

Build so you can run it without us.

Documentation, training and a plain-language handover are part of the scope, not extras. The best outcome of an engagement is that you don't need us — unless you want us.

What we build with

Boring, proven, yours to keep.

Models Llama, Mistral, Qwen Open-weight, on your hardware. Claude, OpenAI or Azure through a private endpoint in your tenant when quality demands it.
Automation MainStage AI platform Agents and workflows in one place, deployed in your environment. Plain Python where a platform would get in the way.
Retrieval PostgreSQL, Qdrant Your existing access rules carried through to every answer.
Hosting Yours Your own servers, your existing cloud account, or a dedicated box set up in your name.
What we won't do

Three things you won't get from us.

A recommendation for AI where a checklist will do.
Your data pasted into a consumer chat tool.
A system only we understand.
Commercials

Fixed scope. Fixed price.

Pilots are scoped and priced up front, against numbers we agree together. If the pilot misses them, you don't proceed and you don't owe the roll-out.

Fractional work is a flat monthly fee with a month's notice either way. No licences resold, no commissions from vendors — if we recommend a tool, it's because we'd run it ourselves.

Note 2. Hardware and cloud costs are billed to you directly by the provider, at cost.

Tell us about the problem. We'll tell you honestly if AI is the answer.

One reply within two business days. No deck, no pitch.
